Venkat Subramaniam and I talk about his new book "Practices of an Agile Developer" during the NFJS Tour 2006 in Reston VA. I enjoyed both the book and his course at NFJS. This book is going on the recommended reading list for my clients. The practices are laid out in a way that eases adoption for people new to Agile and improves the practices for those who have been doing Agile.

I talked with Jay at the end of the No Fluff Just Stuff conference in Reston VA. Jay talks about the Java roots of NFJS and discusses the inclusion of Ruby and Agile Methods into the conference tracks. If you have not been to a NFJS conference you should sign up for the one nearest to you.
Say hi to Jay for me. -bob payne |

I got a chance to speak with Dave at the No Fluff Just Stuff that was held in Reston VA. Every year or so I find nuggets of information that change the way I work and think about my work. We speek briefly about one such nugget that I got from a course I took with Dave... The Dreyfus Model of Learning.
Listen and enjoy. More podcasts from the NFJS are on the way. -bob payne |
