Gary Pollice is a Professor of Practice, Computer
Science at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He discusses his use of
project simulation to bring "Real World Challenges" into an academic
setting. While he does not specifically teach Agile Methods in the
class, many of the processes and practices that emerge will look
shockingly familiar to those of us in the agile community. Plus he has
fun with it ... I wish he had been one of my professors so that I could
have learned some of the hard lessons in the classroom rather than on
the job. |

Peter Coffee delivered a keynote that was both informative and inspiring. A combination that is sometimes hard to come by at a conference. His keynote tied four of his favorite books back to the Agile Manifesto.

Jaraed is one of several authors that I met at the NFJS conference here in the DC area. He has a book out called Just Ship It and I believe that you should take a look at it. It offers advice that can allow nearly any shop to make there process more Agile.

Are you ready for Aspect Oriented Programming, if not give this a listen and hopefully you will learn a bit more about the topic from Ramnivas. I met him at the NFJS here in the DC area and he was kind enough to teach me a thing or two about AOP.
